The woman behind the work

That was the hardest decision I have ever made in my life. I carried their faces with me every single day — working, sacrificing, holding onto the hope that it would all be worth it someday.

I gave everything to my family. Everything. But I never stopped to think about myself. No retirement plan. No financial safety net. I had spent years building a future for the people I love — without ever building one for me.

The fear crept in slowly. What happens to me when I'm old? What happens when I can't work anymore? I had nothing to fall back on — and that scared me more than anything.

That fear led me to a life insurance agent. And becoming a client changed everything. I learned what I had been missing. I saw how many working moms — women who work just as hard, who sacrifice just as much — are in the exact same place. No plan. No protection. No one sitting beside them explaining it clearly.

So I became that person. It wasn't easy. The business was hard to learn. Finding clients was a struggle. There were days I wanted to quit. But I kept going — because I know what it feels like to be the woman who needed help and didn't know where to start.

Six years later, I am still here. Still learning. Still showing up. Because my mission is simple: I don't want any working mom in my community to feel the financial fear I felt.
